John Mohler is a market research and insights leader with more than two decades of experience supporting organizations across the private and public sectors. His work spans financial services, travel and tourism, public affairs, retail, consumer products, and government services, helping clients design research programs that deliver measurable value.
Over the course of his career, John has led syndicated and custom research initiatives, built and managed research panels, and supported complex, multi-stakeholder programs. He previously served as Vice President at Ipsos, where he led innovation and product development.
Throughout this work, he observed a common challenge: strong research initiatives are often launched without sufficient structure, long-term planning, or alignment with business realities. As a result, organizations may generate large volumes of data without realizing their full strategic potential.
This experience led to the development of the ADD Framework — a practical approach to assessing needs, designing effective programs, and delivering sustained value. The framework helps organizations think systematically about their insights investments and avoid fragmented or reactive decision-making.
Through Trendline Research, John works as a strategic partner to organizations seeking to strengthen how they generate, manage, and leverage insights.
